MEET THE TEAM
Our Veterinarians
Dr Tim Craig
I graduated from the University of Sydney in 2004 and began work as a mixed practice vet in early 2005. I then spent nearly 15 years working in mixed practice in Wangaratta, North East Victoria before moving to the Hobart area in 2019.
I have been working at Kingston Animal Hospital since December 2019.
I enjoy the variety of tasks associated with being a veterinarian, especially the practical and hands-on ones.
When I’m not at work, you will find me using gravity to get down a hill fast on skis or a mountain bike, or tending to the family’s guinea pigs, Chocolate and Wombat.
Dr Rosslyn Sharman
Bachelor of Veterinary Science, University Of Queensland, 2008.
I’ve worked as a vet since the start of 2009 with only a 6 month maternity leave break in 2012, and then my son came WITH me to work for the next 6 months, which was a very interesting time of life for both of us. I initially worked for Kingston Animal Hospital for the year of 2017, and then came back again and have worked here since early 2022.
I love that Kingston Animal Hospital has a really cohesive working team. The people I work with feel like family.
I enjoy being hands-on in the surgery, but generally, I appreciate the vast diversity of work that we see.
I have 2 elderly dogs, adopted from the Dog’s Home when they were young. I have a wolfhound cross named Murphy, and a springer cross named Vespa.
You’ll find that vets don’t have a lot of time outside of work, but when I do I like to go bushwalking and I love photography.
Dr Andras Galambos
NVE Australia.
I have worked in the veterinary industry for 20 years, give or take. About 4 years with KAH.
What I love most about working at Kingston Animal Hospital is the team I work with (not sucking up, serious).
My particular area of interest is general surgery.
I have two cats, Cookie and Mew (I’ll get the upgraded version, MewTwo, when she passes).
Outside of work, I like bushwalking and playing fortnite in secret.
Dr Keryn Gane
Bachelor of Science (BSc), University of Tasmania. Doctor of Veterinary Medicine, University of Melbourne.
I graduated from veterinary school in 2021 and commenced working at Kingston Animal Hospital under the guidance of the wonderful Dr Chris Lee in 2022. I have worked at KAH ever since, in addition to working for Kingborough Equine Vets. I feel privileged to have worked for compassionate and supportive bosses from the start of my career.
My favourite part about working at KAH is my team. We are a small, close-knit team, committed to providing a high level of patient care. We are also friends on a personal level, supportive but good for a laugh.
Every team member is crucial to me being able to do my best work. If you get the opportunity, I would appreciate if you could express your appreciation to the veterinary support team, without them there is no vets or veterinary service.
I enjoy a bit of everything in the world of veterinary medicine. In particular, my large animals – cattle, horses, sheep, goats and alpacas.
My partner and I share our home with two dogs and a cat; Ana, a sprightly 3-year-old German Shepherd, Buddy, a 14-year-old German Shepherd X who was a Dogs Home of Tasmania dog and Moggy an 8yo DSH kitty cat who was originally a tiny feral kitten. I also have seven horses to keep me occupied!
I enjoy the outdoors and spending time with friends and family. Horse riding is my ultimate relax and recharge, so I tend to spend all my spare minutes out in the paddock or on the back of a horse.
More recently, we expanded our family by ten toes with the birth of our beautiful baby girl, Nora.
Dr Sarah Hall
I’m a born and bred Southern Tasmanian and obtained my first degree at Monash University in Victoria, Bachelor of Science (Veterinary Bioscience), then proceeded on up to the tropics at James Cook University for my Bachelor of Veterinary Science. I graduated in 2021, and I’ve been at KAH ever since.
I love Kingston and the Tasmanian people, climate and cases. I love being able to work through difficult clinical scenarios with patients and their fur parents to be able to benefit both pet health and the pet-parent relationship!
My interests reside in being a well-rounded clinician in all aspects. I have many fur, feathered and scaly babies that I have taken in over the years and adore.
I’m an avid gamer and self-proclaimed nerd and into all things animal-esque. I love the water and grew up sailing and diving in the cold Tassie ocean, and much rather a 5 degree day than any sort of humidity!
Dr Katelyn Sutcliffe
Hi, I’m Katelyn. I have been a vet for over 10 years, but have just recently joined the Kingston Animal Hospital team and am loving it. I enjoy working at KAH, because of its friendly, community feel and the chance to meet the lovely, varied patients we have.
When I am not at the clinic, you’ll often find me travelling with my family, exploring new places and cultures together and enjoying the food.
Dr Lucinda Zuban
I studied veterinary science at Charles Sturt University in Wagga Wagga, NSW. After graduating, I worked for several years in clinics in rural NSW before moving home to Tasmania in 2025.
I have a number of pets at home, including two wolfhound crosses, one kelpie and three cats.
I enjoy all aspects of general practice and have a keen interest in epidemiology.

Our Nurses
Shontelle Moles
Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing (surgical).
Hi, my name is Shontelle, and I have been a member of the Kingston Animal Hospital for a number of years. I started here on my 22nd birthday!
I am the current Head Veterinary Nurse and have always loved my job and the people I work with. I have always wanted to work with animals and have acquired quite a few myself over the years.
Have also been a registered Wildlife carer for over 20 years, specialising in caring for possums and wallabies.
When I’m not working, I enjoy going for a run and relaxing with friends. Also enjoy going for a ride on the motorbike when we have time!
I am lucky to be part of such a great team of people and hope to stay a part of that in time to come.
Gracie Clark
Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing, Nutritional Consultant.
I have worked at Kingston Animal Hospital since 2021 after completing my certificate II in animal studies
The thing I love most about my job is that every day brings something different. We see a range of different animals and cases. I love being able to form a relationship with the clients and their pets. It is a true pleasure to be able to help families look after their loved ones on a daily basis
I love to take any chance I can get to learn something new. Whether it is through a short course or befriending a new pet, I take it as an opportunity to grow.
At home, I have 2 tabby cats, “Piggy” & “Guzzle”, and a Dalmatian “Cash”
In my spare time, I love going outdoors with my dog, Cash, and partner, Ben. Whether it is a walk, the dog beach or camping, we are happy!
Hayley Cavill
I’m Hayley Cavill, a Veterinary Nurse here at Kingston Animal Hospital. I’ve completed my Certificate II in Animal Care and am currently doing my Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing. I have been working with KAH for 3 years, which is where I started Veterinary Nursing.
What I love most about working at Kingston Animal Hospital is the love, respect and compassion we have for each other and the animals we see each day. No day is the same which makes it exciting. I also love witnessing the beautiful bond between the pets and their owners. Some days can be harder than others but thanks to the amazing team, we all support each other.
Areas within the veterinary field that I find most special to me would be working with hospitalised patients that require a lot of care and love. It’s really beautiful seeing their progress and watching them improve each day.
I don’t have any pets of my own, but I’ve got my family dog, Millie. She was adopted from the Dogs’ Homes of Tasmania and is very, very, VERY spoilt, living the life she deserves! I do really want a dog of my own, a companion, a little friend to cuddle and give all my love to. I spend most of my time outside of work with my partner, friends and family!
Jessica Patmore
Currently studying Cert III in animal care services through the Australian College of Veterinary Nursing.
I have worked with the wonderful team at Kingston Animal Hospital since May 2025.
I love working as a veterinary nurse as it offers such an amazing outlet to offer care and support to all animals, big and small, that come through the doors of the clinic.
I have a huge passion for the well-being and welfare of animals, and I could not dream of a more supportive and fun-loving environment than the Kinston animal hospital to work at.
I love working alongside such amazing vets and nurses in such a lovely, supportive, family-feel environment that all the staff offer at the Kingston Animal Hospital.
Being a permaculture-inspired small hobby farmer myself, I have a special interest in large animals and livestock, and I have a big passion for animal welfare and a soft spot for rescue animals.
I am lucky enough to have a number of wonderful pets that I love and adore.
My cows: Jersey, a purebred Jersey cow. Her favourite things are watermelon, scratches on her rump, and being brushed. She is our pet and milking cow. My second cow is Lola, a Jersey/Dexter cross, who loves anything food-related and basking in the sun. Both my cows are currently in calf.
My horses: The absolute loves of my life! Apollo is my 17.2hh 4-year-old TB. His favourite things are smooches, carrots and my children, as he absolutely loves children. Maggie, my 15-year-old QH. Her favourite things are cows, apples and being ridden through the bush.
I have an adorable 18-month-old Smithfield/kelpie/collie cross named Shadow. His favourite things are rounding up chickens, barking at bumble bees and his bed, which is a giant human-sized teddy bear named Big Dog.
Lastly, I have 19 wonderful Australorp chickens that love roaming freely in the pastures on my farm and dust baths.
Outside of work, my favourite things to do are bush walking, kayaking, camping and gardening with my children and partner. I love travelling and my favourite place to travel is Thailand. I love riding and caring for my horses, and I love milking my jersey cow early in the morning whilst listening to my chickens clucking around me.
Emma Smythe
My name is Emma Smythe and I’m a veterinary nurse. I completed a Cert III in Animal Studies while working full-time as a salmon farmer.
I’ve been lucky enough to be employed at KAH now for just over a year, and I love it!
The best part of the job is working with an amazing team, and every day brings new challenges and surprises. I enjoy getting to know the clients and helping to make sure their pets have a positive experience in the clinic.
I like to spend my spare time with my family and our blue heeler, Doug, who needs a lot of walks! We also enjoy boating and fishing.
Yaleena Bridges
Certificate II in Animal Care and currently in first year Bachelor of Science Biology major at Charles Sturt University.
I started regular work experience at the start of 2023, before becoming a Vet Nurse in December that year. I hope one day to also pursue a career as a Veterinarian and work in mixed practice.
I love that we feel like a family and enjoy lots of laughs together. I love being able to help all sorts of animals and really enjoy the farm visits, as I have grown up around livestock and love being outside. There are definitely many sad moments, but seeing animals go home happier and healthier makes it all worth it.
I’ve always had a strong love for horses from a very young age and grew up riding.
Suzi is a 25-year-old Thoroughbred cross Riding Pony that I’ve owned for 5 years, and a newer addition is Marla, a Mini Australian Shepherd puppy who’s full of energy!
Outside of work, I can usually be found riding horses, from training young green ones, to competing and enjoying riding many different horses!
Kate Turvey
Certificatte II.
I’ve been in the industry for nearly 6 years, I’ve been lucky to work and learn under some amazing nurses in my short time in the industry. Helping me grow and learn new skills every day. There is always something interesting in this industry; no two days are ever the same, one reason why I love it.
I have recently started at Kingston Animal Hospital, and everyone is so supportive, kind and caring. My role at Kingston is split between reception and nursing; I enjoy both.
Making sure patients feel comfortable in the clinic is something I’m passionate about, as it can always be a stressful time for our patients and owners as well.
I have a young Jack Russel at home called Emily Jane, as well as a horse called Indy. Both bring me so much joy when I’m with them at home. I love being with my animals and have a strong passion for the outdoors, whether it be riding my horse or taking Emily for walks at the beach with her stepsister, Pippy.
MEET THE TEAM
In the Office
Fiona Dwyer
I started working at Kingston Animal Hospital in November 2008, initially stepping in to do 6 months of maternity cover on reception! Over the years, I’ve really enjoyed getting to know our clients and their pets.
What I love most about working at Kingston Animal Hospital is being part of a close-knit team that feels more like a family. We’ve overcome many challenges together which has only made us stronger. Every day in the veterinary industry is different and brings new opportunities; there’s rarely a dull moment! Having our clinic cat, Missy, curled up beside me at the desk is a bonus too.
At home, my partner Will and I are kept busy with our three cats (Bobbi Sue, Mini Cat and Miley), a very spoilt, food-obsessed dachshund named Freddie Mercury, four goats and five sheep. Among them is Victa, a sheep with a big personality who thinks he’s a dog!
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time on our property with the animals and pottering around in the garden. I love listening to music, particularly live gigs at the local pub, and heading out for bushwalks on our property or trips to the dog beach with Freddie. At the end of a busy day, I like to unwind in the spa with a glass of red wine and some good tunes!
